  2. I think the first cartoon is refered to the lack of liberty of expression in Venezuela, because Hugo Chavez has closed oppositor chanels for hi benefit, and in the national chanels they only transmit things related to the dictatorial government.

The second cartoon is about the military bases of the U.S in Colombia an John McCain is saying "Barack America" because the world thinks that the military bases in Colombia are benefitial to the U.S and no for Colombia.

  3. 1. I think First situation refers to the scared position of Chavez when he taked out of air to the foregin channels because he know that if a good tv critical shows the truth of the bad way of government, it can make the venezuela people react and maybe revoke him.

2.I think Sencond situation refers to the resentmentof the ex presidential candidate Jhon McCain that is expressed by trying to persuade to the all America of what he tinks: Obama is a liar that won the mandate by means of lying and now he tries to be the monopolist of the continent with all the people convinced of Obama's "good Intensions".

In the other hand, what Obama says is a fusion of his principal political campaign sentence and Juanes characteristical one; "se habla change" out of Obama's mouth only means one thing: He tries to appear as the people like the friend of all the people because Juanes is a pacific revolutionary person that defends the human rights.

  5. Hello Mr.
I Think First Situation Is About The Way How Chavez Is Governing Venezuela, He Had Canceled Several Media Because According To Him these could Destabilize Venezuela, Also The Tv Programs Could Make Venezolans To React And Reflect, They Could Revoke Him. In Conclution The Tv Programs Could Be An Incentive For Venezolans.

I think Second Situation Is About A Mockery From Jhon McCain To Barack Obama, Is Like A Sample Of Antiphaty, I Think, In The Image Is Also Present A Bit Of Hipocrisy From McCain As A Result Of Not Having Been Elected.
In My Opinion What Obama Says Is Like A Way To Express A Feeling Of Change From Him... I Suppose That In A Good Way, Therefore An Improvement For All...!
    Ok That´s All Mr.
    Thanks
    Bye...

  7. hi mr

well i think that the first situation refers to the goverment that venezuela is having now with chavez because he is getting out the channels just for his own benefit and now all the people have to see just what he want so they can't see the truth of the things

i think the second situation refers to the stress that Jhon McCain is having because he didn't won the eletion for president and is in Disagreement with obama. but obama is just saying that he is going to bring a chage to the world while he is a president.

  9. i think the first one (the hugo chavez one)refers to the closed that chavez make with the "radio caracas television"(rctv)and that he don´t want to be exposed the real hugo chavez that some venezuelans try to show.

the second one refers to the planting of the united states bases in colombia and that he will try to make a better country.

I THINK THAT THE FIRST SITUATION REFERS TO THE POLITICAL POWER OF CHAVEZ, AND HIS POSITION IN THE DICTATORSHIP OF VENEZUELA. IT ALSO REFERS TO THE CHANELS THAT WERE CLOSE BECAUSE OF THE POLITICAL SCANDALAS, AND CHANGES.

THE SECOND REFERS TO THE POLITICAL LEADERSHIP OF OBAMA, AND HIS EX OPONENT MC CAIN.
IT SHOWS THE CELOUS FEELING AND THE WAY MC CAIN SAW OBAMA IN THE POWER.
ALSO SHOWS A FUNNY FACE OF THE POLITICAL LEADERS.

    THANKS
    CAMILA MORENO!

  14. This Chavez's cartoon answers to a critique of the opposition(examination), more concretly, of the Venezuelan journalism that it makes it see as a person who hates her but only when it does not do flatteries to him Because if the Venezuelan television flatters i: to him(, then if itloves the Venezuelan television. 16. Mr.
I think that in the 1 picture talks about the problems chavez Venzuela where awareness of the problems that have to, inside the state.
On the other hand the 2 image of talking about where razismo many years ago is happening.
but by joining these two caricatures is pocible observe the sidewalk talking dificutades why these states are passing on the most recent time.
